COMPLEX COMPOUNDS OF CALCIUM NICOTINATE WITH AMIDES

Abstract. Background. In modern coordination chemistry in the section of solid state chemistry metal complexes containing in their ligand environment different N,O-donor centers take a special place. They are good models for the study of competitive coordination problems in the chemistry of complex compounds due to the specific action of their environment on the stereochemistry of polyhedrons.

Purpose. Determination of the synthesis conditions, the establishment of the composition and structure of coordination compounds with amide, nicotinamide and calcium nicotinate. The study of the thermal behavior of new calcium coordination compounds.

Methodology. Differential thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis.

Originality. For the first time two new coordination compounds of calcium nicotinate with СH3CONH2, CO(NH2)2, H2NCONHNO2, NС4Н5CONH2 are synthesized. Composition, individuality, the coordination mode of acid amides` and nicotinate molecule fragments were found out. Coordination of organic ligands, coordination environment of central ion of synthesized compounds were proved by vibrational spectroscopy methods. Thermal behavior of the synthesized compounds was studied too.

Findings. Composition of synthesized compounds is set by elemental analysis. Comparative consideration of interplanar space and relative intensities of free molecules of amide acids, calcium nicotinate and synthesized complexes shows that new coordination compounds differ from each other and original components as they possess individual crystal lattices. On the basis of IR spectroscopy the data collected show that the molecules of amides, nicotinic anions are coordinated around central atom through the oxygen atom and nicotinamide through the nitrogen atom of the pyridine ring.

PHYSICOCHEMICAL AND ADSORPTIVE PROPERTIES OF COAL ADSORBENTS

Abstract. Background.  For treatment of industrial wastewater one of еру effective ways known is an adsorption based on adsorbents derived from different raw materials application, such as peat, clay, coal, etc. The most widely applicable adsorbents are activated coals, but they are basically imported and act often not so effective as should be and are relatively expensive.

Purpose. On the basis of local coals to obtain high-performance cheap adsorbents and to study them with physicochemical and adsorptive methods.

Methodology. IR spectral method for functional groups study is used applied to the initial and activated coals. Their adsorption capacity in respect to copper is determined using an ionomer I-160MI device.

Originality. On the basis of local coals new coal adsorbents are received, dependence of their physicochemical and adsorptive properties on functional groups’ nature is studied.

Findings. Using physicochemical analytic methods new coal adsorbents of technical grades 2BPK, 1SSKOM and 1T, obtained on the basis of local coals are studied resulting the functional groups’ nature understanding and characterization. The dependence of activated coals’ adsorption properties on their nature is revealed.

DIFFERENTIAL THERMAL RESEARCH OF THE OBTAINED SUPER- AND HYPERPLASTICIZERS

Abstract. Background. The main directions of improving the performance of cement composites are improved manufacturability, increased strength and durability. In the modern building materials science more preference is given to the development of plasticizing additives for concrete mixtures and concrete, allowing solving several technological problems.

Purpose. Study of differential thermal analysis of obtained plasticizers.

Methodology. Data of differential thermal analysis was recorded on the derivatograph system Paulik - Paulik - Erdei at rate of 10 g / min with sample’s weight 0.114 - 0.173 g, sensitivity of galvanometers T-900, TG-200 DTA-1/10 DTG-1/20. Recording was carried out under atmospheric conditions. Holder was performed with  corundum crucible, diameter of 10 mm, without cover. We used Al2O3 as reference.

Originality. In the study of differential - thermal analysis of obtained plasticizers, changes in the temperature interval at thermal processing of wet concrete mixtures were identified.

Findings. At a curve of differential thermal analysis of superplasticizer SDJ-1,  4 endo-effects in the following ranges: 403-423 K; 481-493 K; 546-559 K and 618-653 K were detected, which show the chemical and phase transitions of polymers. The first three endo-effects usually show removal of weakly or strongly bound water molecules, the beginning of the melting and decomposition of polymers. The observed exo-effects in the temperature ranges: 546-559 K; 603-618 K; 668-793 K; 833-893 K; 1023-1063 K and 1068-1113 K show stitching, increased crystallinity and oxidation of the superplasticizer SDJ-1. 2 endoeffects are observed in the following intervals at the curves of differential thermal analysis of hyperplasticizer: 313-363 K; 421-531 K, which show the removal of weakly or strongly bound water molecules, the beginning of melting and the decomposition of polymers. Exo-effects in other temperature ranges indicate stitching, increased crystallinity and oxidation of hyper-plasticizer.

STUDY OF KINETIC PROPERTIES OF THE COMPLEXING ANION EXCHANGERS

Abstract. Background. Use of complexing anion resins in various fields of science and technology requires knowledge of the basic kinetic and physicochemical properties, such as sorption capacity ferrous metal ions, and ion exchange rate of these properties depending on the pH and ionic strength aqueous solutions. Also, the study of the complexation of anion exchangers with metal ions sorbed presence sorption process is an urgent task of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry.

Purpose. In order to study the study supplied kinetic properties anion synthesized based on thiourea, melamine and epichlorohydrin, in particular, the values of the rate of sorption and diffusion coefficient of copper and nickel ions.

Methodology. Sorption-kinetic properties of the resin synthesized complexing methods complexometric and potentiometric titration.

Originality. Synthesized new polyfunctional anion exchanger based on the reaction products of thiourea-based (T), epichlorohydrin (ECH) and melamine (M) having improved sorptive characteristics and form complexes with certain transition metal cations.

Findings. These data show that the degree of saturation TEM we synthesized anion is 2.4 mg-eq / g, i.e. resulting anion exchanger in its kinetic properties are not inferior to the famous Universal anion exchangers EDE-10P (1.8 mg-eq / g). Also we set the value of the copper diffusion coefficient after 7 hours of contact phases of the anion exchanger for TEM – 6.8 • 10-8, and for the anion exchanger EDE-10P – 5.6 • 10-8.

Abstract. Background. The actual direction of coordination chemistry is development of methods of synthesis of d-transition metals’ chelate compounds with sulfur-containing organic ligands and mixed-ligand complexes leading to their practical application. The reliable information on the composition, structure and properties of new complex compounds should be the fundamental basis for establishment of properties changes’ laws typical for a number of synthesized compounds.

Purpose. The research is focused on synthesis, study of properties and structure of coordination compounds, formed Cd[(i-C3H7O)2PS2]2 with 2-amino-1-methylbenzimidazole (MAB) as well as determination of interaction nature of molecules in crystal structures.

Methodology. Synthesis of the cadmium diizopropyldithiophosphate and 2-amino-1-metylbenzimidazole mixed-ligand compound was carried out in ethanol solution by addition of heterocycle to chelate. Single crystals for X-ray analysis were grown up by slow evaporation at room temperature in saturated alcohol solution. The structure was studied by methods of X-ray phase, thermal and IR spectroscopic analyses, X-ray structural analysis.

Originality.  The novel [Cd (MAB)2(iso-ProPS2)2] mixed ligand complexes were synthesized. The MAB molecules were allocated in coordination sphere of cadmium  diisopropyldithiophosphate. The molecules’ interaction and packing in the crystal structure were discussed.

Findings.  The complex has a distorted tetrahedral configuration around the metal ion, the coordination sphere consists of 2 sulfur atoms of monodentate coordinated diisopropyldithiophosphate ions and 2 nitrogen atoms of aminobenzimidazole molecules. The spectroscopic data were confirmed by X-ray diffraction data. The thermal behavior of the complex were studied and  decomposition of intermediate products was identified.

STUDY THE EFFECT OF ALKALINE WASTEWATER ON DEGREE OF REDUCTION OF CHROMIUM(VI) IONS

Abstract.Background. Reagent method of removal of chromium ions from wastewater of galvanic and other enterprises is spread. Purification of waste solutions from chromium (VI) ions by their reduction to chromium (III) ions is carried out in an acidic medium by chemical reagents such as thiosulfates, pyrosulfites and sodium or potassium bisulfite. To isolate the chromium (III) ion in the form of sparingly soluble chromium (III) hydroxide, wastewater subsequently is basified by reagents: NaOH, KOH, Na2CO3, lime milk, etc. Of particular interest is the use of wastes as reagents for sewage purification

Purpose. The aim of this work is to study the recovery of chromium (VI) ions in the presence of alkaline wastewater of  syntepon production, to investigate the degree of reduction of chromium (VI) to chromium (III) ions depending on the amounts of alkaline wastewater and the chemical reducing agent.

Methodology. The object of investigation chosen is the exhaust alkaline wastewater of syntepon production process and the model spent chrome plating solution from galvanizing plant. For determination of chromium ions’ concentration the titrimetric, photometric, physicochemical methods were used.

Originality. It is found out that by using as reducing agent of sodium thiosulfate in the presence of alkaline wastewater, residual chromium (VI) ions in the model solution at initial concentration 50 g/liter are reduced to finish concentration 4 mg/l. Under the same conditions the use of sodium hydrosulfite reduces the residual content of chromium (VI) only down to 120 mg / l.

Findings. Studies on recovery of hexavalent chromium in the presence of sewage enabled to establish the optimum ratio of the chromium-containing alkaline solution to the waste water, 2: 1, respectively, at which the lowest concentration of residual Cr (VI) in solution exists.

FLUIDIZED BED REACTOR FOR MOLYBDENITE CONCENTRATES ROASTING. PART 1.

Abstract. Background. For granulation molybdenite concentrate’s charge at JSC "Almalyk MMC" contains up to 10% kaolin, reducing the Mo content in the cinder. An alternative to kaolin new charge’s composition is developed based on polymers SK-K and SK-D devoid of this disadvantage. Another its advantage is the porosity of the pellet’s surface, which facilitates the diffusion rate of limiting steps of the processes of oxygen supply and removal of sulfur dioxide from the reaction zone.

However, during the test a negative feature is revealed concerning sintering granules and adhesion of cinders on the hearth of the furnace.

Purpose - the creation and testing of laboratory fluidized bed ("boiling" layer’s) reactor for the Mo concentrate roasting, preliminary granulated with binders: kaolin, polymers SK-K, SK-D, search for the causes of granules sintering.

Methodology. Granules of different composition’s charges were subjected to drying at: 20-110-300 °C and calcined in a rotary kiln and the fluidized bed reactor with volume of 150 cm3 with supercharged air or O2. Then the following types of tests were conducted: elemental analysis – via spectrometers Perkin-Elmer 3030V, Aligent 7500 ISP MS, thermal analysis – via derivatograph Paulik-Erdei; X-ray inspection – via DRON-UM device; IR spectral analysis – via spectrograph UR-20 (700-3600 cm-1).

Originality. A lab fluidized-bed reactor (FBR) was created and tested for burning of granulated Mo concentrate with mineral or organic binders in charge’s composition - on the basis of polymers SK-K and SK-D. Its advantage, in compare with different furnaces including current drum oven, is its 20-fold increase in performance of molybdenite oxidation process and increase in specific Mo and Re recoveries of the cinder. Furthermore, sintering of the pellets is excluded in FBR oven.

Findings. The pellets’ samples containing organic binders are obtained at the FBR-established laboratory furnace, as well as at conventional muffle furnace. Comparative studies by elemental analysis, IR-spectroscopy, derivatography, elemental analyses are performed. At temperatures above 300 ° C the polymer’s granules are being destructed acquire porosity. Advantages of FBR furnaces over other types of furnaces are revealed.

RHEOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF CALCIUM-PHOSPHATE AND MONOBASIC CALCIUM PHOSPHATE SLURRIES BEING BYPRODUCTS OF DOUBLE SUPERPHOSPHATE.

Abstract. Background. Cyclic technology of processing natural phosphate in double superphosphate provides overall decomposition of secondary raw for a short time. This way for double superphosphate production is more efficient than conventional one, such as chamber, chamber-line, line and multiple-return. There has been conducted the study of rheological properties (in a range 30-100°С) of calcium-phosphate and monobasic calcium phosphate (MCP), being the by-products of phosphorite concentrate decomposition under high norms and concentrations of wet process phosphoric acid (WPA). It has been shown that rheological behaviors of the slurries in studied range are sufficient during the pumping in existing devices.

Purpose. The object of the research is to study density and viscosity of calcium-phosphate and acidic MCP slurries in a wide range of temperature: 30-100 °С.

Methodology. Liquid’s density was defined picnometrically, their viscosity – with capillary viscometer in measuring volumetric speed of slurry flow through VPJ-2 device supplied with capillary diameter 1.47 and 2.37 mm put in thermostat filled with glycerin.

Originality. For the first time there have been studied the rheological properties of by-products of phosphorite concentrate decomposition under high norms and concentrations of WPA from phosphorite of Central Kyzylkum.

Findings. There have been found the value of the rheological properties (density and viscosity) of calcium phosphate and MCP slurries at 30-100 °С. The chemical composition and crystallization temperature of two types of the slurries have been determined. It has been established that calcium phosphate and MCP slurries in the studied ranges of concentration and norms of WPA starting from 60 and 70°С respectively, are fluid.

NITROGEN, PHOSPHORUS, POTASSIUM CONTAING FERTILIZERS ON THE BASIS OF AMMONIUM NITRATE, PHOSPHORITE FLOUR OF CENTRAL KYZYLKUM, LOCAL POTASSIUM CHLORIDE AND THEIR PHYSICOCHEMICAL,  COMMODITY PROPERTIES

Abstract. Background.  Large branch of chemical industry producing mineral fertilizers is created in Uzbekistan. Our factories produce unary nitrogen fertilizers such as ammonium nitrate, carbamide, ammonium sulphate, unary phosphoric fertilizers such as simple ammonium superphosphate, unary potash fertilizer such as potassium chloride and binary nitrogenphophorous fertilizers such as ammophos, suprephos and ammonium sulfatephosphate. But great demand at a world market attract triple NРК-fertilizers as they deeply reduce expenses for their storage, transportation and use. Available resources of Uzbekistan allow us creating the production of triple NРК-fertilizers.

Purpose. To study process of obtaining NРК-fertilizers on the basis of ammonium nitrate melt, ordinary phosphorite flour of Central Kyzylkum, potassium chloride and their physicochemical, commodity properties.

Methodology. An addition of phosphorite flour and potassium chloride into a melt of ammonium nitrate, granulation of a mixture by billing method, research of compounds and properties of obtained fertilizers were carried out by traditional methods.

Originality. For the first time a process of obtaining triple NРК-fertilizers by addition of phosphorite flour and potassium chloride to a melt of ammonium nitrate is studied and their physicochemical and commodity properties are defined.

Findings. Composition and properties of triple NРК-fertilizers, obtained at the different weight ratio of ammonium nitrate melt : phosphorite flour:КCl = 100 : (20-30) : (5.75-57.5) are defined. So, at the ratio 100 : 20 : 57.5 the fertilizers were obtained containing 19.40 % N, 1.98 % Р2О5, 19.42 % К2О, which strength of granules is equal to 9.07 МPа and time of dissolution of granules in water is found to be 128.9 seconds. While strength of pure ammonium nitrate granules equal 1.6 МPа and time of its dissolution 46.8 seconds. Hygroscopic point of obtained fertilizers is less than hygroscopic point of ammonium nitrate. Therefore to carry on a process it is necessary to  pack them in polyethylene sacks. It has been revealed that ammonium nitrate of 3.5 % humidity strongly cakes and loses friability, and samples of NPK-fertilizers preserve external form and friability even at 5% humidity. Only at humidity of 6 % they lose their sieving ability.

RESEARCH OF FEATURES OF STRUCTURE OF SOME OLIVE SEEDS OF LOCAL GRADES

Abstract. Background. For manufacture of vegetable oils the ineffective technology, processes and the equipment are characteristic. Technological processes differ by multistage and power consumption. For the decision of the problem connected with maintenance of a necessary consumption level of vegetable oils of high quality domestic production it is necessary to improve the technology of their production.

Objective. Development of advanced technologies by means of studying of laws of formation of capillary-porous system of oily materials, in particular, olive cultures of local grades.

Methodology. Cellular and intracellular structure of kernel and cover of olive seeds and their change under the influence of technological parameters were analyzed by methods of poromethry, light and scanning electronic microscopy. Chemical, physical-chemical and kinetic methods of researches were carried out by standard methods of the analysis. Estimation of results and their statistical reliability were fulfilled by means of application of modern methods of calculation of statistical reliability of results’ data.

Originality. The interrelation between a structure of seeds and lipids and albumens’ maintenance there was revealed, their role in formation of structure of materials in technological processing was estimated. Sharp distinctions in cell’s size and their ultrastructure in surface blankets of storing fabric, basically parenchyma, as well as in sizes and localization of lipid spheros and albuminous globules was revealed.

Findings. By analyze of character of cellular structure, sizes of cages, thickness of cellular walls, quantity and size of lipid spheros and albuminous bodies, development of cytoplasma matrix, the distinctions of seeds in the maintenance of lipids and albumens, sizes of pores and capillaries was defined. The obtained data has shown that olive seeds differ among themselves with their basic physical and physical-chemical characters.

USE OF VEGETATIVE ADDITIVES IN THE BREADMAKING FROM FLOUR WITH THE DOWNGRADED BAKING PROPERTIES

Abstract. Background. In the conditions of market economy and high concurrence, the baking production corresponding to the increased demands of consumers is one of the priorities. Now the branch factories more often face a flour quality problem which can be solved by adding conditioners mainly of non- alimentary nature taken abroad that is reflected on food safety and cost price of their end products.

Purpose. The aim of research is to substantiate the feasibility of using natural supplements from the local plant raw material in the processing of wheat flour with reduced baking properties.

Methodology. Quality analyses of flour, dough and bread have been conducted in triple frequency by means of the standardized methods.

Originality. The effect of the powders obtained from carrots, pumpkins and red pepper introduced with replacement of 5% flour, calculated on the basis of its formulation on the output and properties of gluten, fermentative activity of microflora in the dough and bread quality.

Findings. In the experimental dough samples with additives it is revealed a natural reduction in the yield of wet gluten by an average of 6,0-9,2% (rel.), While reducing its extensibility by 3-4 cm and increasing the gas-retaining ability to 8,7-17,4 % relative to the values ​​of similar indicators in the control test specimens. The products with the additives did reveal an increase in the volumetric output of bread 12,8-14,9%, improving the ability of hearth bread to hold their form 1.2-1.4 times more relative to the control samples without additives. We prove that the supplements allow you to adjust the baking properties of wheat flour with a "weak" on the strength of the gluten and provide the required quality of finished products. The choice of additives is caused by the presence of carotenoids that are resistant to heat treatment and capable of masking the color of crumb, giving it a yellowish tinge.

FUNCTIONAL PROPERTIES OF ALBUMINS FROM WHEATEN BRAN

Abstract. Background. For creation of the wide spectrum of food products with adjustable structure and nutritious properties for production of albumin products it is expedient to use real-life raw materials of the country – the wheaten bran.

Purpose – Estimation of quality of albumin products with high biological value and multifunctional purpose, received from wheaten bran.

Methodology. Optimum technological modes of proteins recovery and rational kind of grain raw materials have been defined. The best of them was found to be bran of general production line from various systems of technological process and providing the yield of albumen 47-49 %, as well as grain-size fraction of the general bran mass with particles size 196-670 microns, providing the yield of albumen 60 % from its general maintenance in raw materials.

Originality. Albumin products from bran are characterized with true comprehensibility concerning the casein, equal to 94 %, average size of biological value on “growth signs” equal to 55.5 %. They contain more irreplaceable amino acids than initial raw materials, and albumin flour from grain-size fractions – the bran product enriched more, in compare with flour obtained from general bran, with scarce lysine, threonine, valine and leucine.

Findings. Albumin flour from bran comes closer to soya non-defatted flour with water-bound ability and surpasses all other albumin products (in 1.3-5.3 times). Albumin products from bran possess high oil-bound ability to form “oil in water” type emulsion. Albumin products from bran along with ability to change the superficial tension on border of section of “oil-water” phases also possess similar property concerning “gas-water” phases.

DEHYDRATION AND DESALINATION OF WATER EMULSIONS WITH EMULSION REAKERS

Abstract. Background. Adding a water-oil emulsion demulsifier ("KD") based on glycerin, GMTA and oleic acid, we can increase an effectiveness of dehydration and desalting process. "KD" is a karboksildeemulgator obtained by condensation reaction of a carboxylic acid with glycerol and GMTA decay products.

Purpose. The aim of the research is to study demulsifiers created for dehydration and desalting of aqua-oil emulsions. Use of semi-local products solves a problem of import substitution by local oil emulsion breaker at crude oil dehydration and desalting by destroying the stable water-oil emulsions in their composition.

Methodology. Development of emulsion breakers and oil dehydrating reagents’ syntheses methods contributes to the local issues solutions such as import substitution, development of domestic technology of emulsion breakers and reducing their cost, pilot trials tests and industrial technology creature. The proposed new demulsifier’s synthesis methods of dewatering and desalination of oil dispersions were applied on oils samples at Garmiston, Feruza, Sherkent fields. The processes of demulsification, dehydration and desalting proceed in a variety of conditions and are being implemented in different ways. The low water oil samples present as dispersed emulsions, held aging step, and it is almost impossible completely to desalt them by existing methods.

Originality. The novelty of the proposed development consists in new methods of syntheses of a number of demulsifiers for dehydration and desalination of highly saline aqueous dispersions of oil on concrete examples of samples from various oil deposits (Garmiston, Feruza, Sherkent et al.). For the first time the creation of syntheses methods for emulsion breakers and oil dehydrating reagents creature promote a number of local issues solutions such as import substitution, development of domestic technology of emulsion breakers and reducing their cost, pilot tests and industrial technology developments.

Findings. Demulsifier’s tests results are offered and discussed. According to their effectiveness, the demulsifiers CD and DGMP do not inferior to imported reagent Dissolvan-4411.
